2022 EDPA Foundation Scholarships Awarded
The EDPA Foundation has announced this year’s scholarship recipients. The 2022 scholarships were awarded to 17 students. Rebecca Thompson, EDPA Foundation Board, and Scholarship Chair stated, “I’m excited to say that the Foundation Scholarship Program is supporting the most students in one year, in the history of our program. To date, we have awarded nearly $350,000 to industry families. This is only possible because of the many generous people and companies that support EDPA and the EDPA Foundation. We remain eternally grateful and are committed to keeping the program alive and growing for years to come.”

EDPA Awards Now Open For Submissions
The EDPA Awards are now open for submissions! Nominate an outstanding individual or recognize your company. There are 10 award categories to choose from. Click here to submit your nomination today . The deadline is October 3rd.
Award categories include:
The Hazel Hays Award - recognizes an individual for outstanding contribution to the experiential/exhibit industry overall. The award is the highest honor bestowed by EDPA.
The Ambassador Award - acknowledges an individual for outstanding service or contribution to EDPA and the industry.
Designer of the Year Award - acknowledges a designer who works to enhance the professional standards of experiential/exhibit designers.
The Eddie Awards - recognizes outstanding creative achievements for self-promotion within the experiential/event industry across categories.
International Collaboration Award - recognizes companies that have formed international partnerships to deliver outstanding work for their clients.
Future Leaders Award - honoring the best and brightest young professionals who have demonstrated outstanding leadership qualities.

Event Description: The EDPA Northwest Chapter invites you to an in-person and online mixer on October 27. Meet with industry colleagues and suppliers and attend a panel discussion featuring Jessica Sibila, the Executive Director of The Exhibitor Advocate. The event will be held at Condit Exhibits in Denver. The Exhibitor Advocate is a newly formed non-profit organization dedicated to supporting exhibitor needs in the exhibitions and events industry. The group provides expert advice, research, and tools to act on behalf of all exhibiting companies, focusing on addressing challenges and pain points so that exhibitions and events remain a valuable and irreplaceable marketing channel. Exhibitors are an essential part of the industry ecosystem; without them, we don’t have a trade show. In this post-COVID world, exhibitors are being challenged by exponentially rising costs, lack of data availability, and limited metrics and ROI. It’s important the industry understands the needs of the exhibiting community and works towards addressing these issues in order to sustain the industry for the future. We can no longer rely solely on the attendee to drive the success of a trade show. The exhibitor is a strategic partner in creating an event that is beneficial for all parties. The Exhibitor Advocate amplifies the voice of the exhibitor. We are a powerful community that finally has a platform for sharing best practices and addressing challenges we face.
