Few industries are experiencing greater long-term damage from the coronavirus pandemic than the live events industry.

Every significant trade show, exhibition, and conference event scheduled for the rest of 2020 has been cancelled.

Our Congressional Representatives will remain in Washington D.C. for just two more weeks (until October 2nd), at which time they will leave and return home to continue running for reelection. If there is not a small business stimulus package approved by Congress by October 2nd, it is doubtful that our industry will see any financial aid in 2020, causing even more layoffs and business closures.

We have a short window to actively lobby and advocate for additional economic aid that will help the employees and small businesses in our industry remain operational in 2020.
