EDPA is continuing to work on your behalf to ensure our industry’s voice is heard during this critical time,” says Dasher Lowe, EDPA executive director. “We have been speaking with a number of industry leaders and associations to align, share information, and collaborate on ways to help. This week, we have had several discussions with with IAEE, Meetings Mean Business and, the US Travel Association on opportunities to help our industry. EDPA and IAEE shared critical facts and talking points with the U.S. Travel Association in preparation for meetings with government leaders.
“On Tuesday, U.S. Travel Association CEO Roger Dow met with President Trump and Vice President Pence to discuss stimulus support for our larger industry group,” Lowe continues. “Roger’s talking points included the impact the meetings and events sector is experiencing.
“Our collective voices are more critical now than ever,” adds Lowe. “EDPA will continue working on your behalf to make sure our industry’s concerns are heard. Stay strong and stay united.”
