IFES to Present Global Village at EuroShop 2020

Companies planning a trade fair appearance or marketing event in the foreseeable future should note the 16 - 21 February 2020 in their calendar now. At this time, EuroShop – the trade fair for shopfitting, shop systems, and three-dimensional communication, will take place in Düsseldorf.

In EuroShop Halls 4 and 5, international service providers will exhibit all aspects of trade fair presentations. Here, innovative productions for companies, brands, and products will be shown that allows live communication to be experienced in new ways.

Naturally, the Global Village of IFES (International Federation of Exhibition and Event Services) will be represented again at EuroShop 2020 (Hall 4 Stand E39). This global association of exhibition construction companies, architects, and designers offers a wide range of information and services to help every exhibitor with their next trade fair appearance.

The IFES Global Village, with its 14 exhibitors, is the contact point for the industry worldwide. As a globally active association, IFES helps its members to support their customers who participate in international trade fairs. In an industry of constant change, the association offers its members a network that helps them overcome challenges and generate new business.

On Monday at 11 a.m. IFES invites you to a Student & Newcomer Breakfast and to a subsequent Design Walk of selected exhibition stands. Highlighting the afternoon is the presentation and awarding of the IFES Innovation + Development Award (IDIA). IDIA praises extraordinary developments for the exhibition and event industry. The focus is on special materials, extraordinary production processes, and innovative services.

"With the IDIA Award, we honor innovations and developments that represent milestones in the exhibition and event business," explains Torsten Heinze, IFES Board Member for Strategy. "The award winners present exemplary innovations and further developments in design, sustainability, and efficiency. In this way, they help live communication to become even better in terms of conception and implementation."

IFES will present IDIAs in four categories: Products, services, production processes and 'out of the box' ideas. All interested parties are cordially invited to attend the awards ceremony at the Expo + Event Stage located adjacent to the IFES Global Village in Hall 4.

IFES, together with the FAMAB Kommunikationsverband e.V. of ESG Einkaufs- und Servicegesellschaft mbH and m+a report, is the content partner of the Expo + Event Forum.  During EuroShop, the Forum will feature a program of lectures, best case studies and discussions on a wide range of current topics.
