The Future is Bright  for the Events Industry

The aim of Future Workforce is to grow the talent pool of the events industry by creating interest in the jobs and career paths afforded at the student level. This Group is working to form partnerships with organizations from high schools, trade schools, and junior colleges to colleges and universities, alumni associations, and veterans’ groups and associations, with the goal of building strong relationships with the faculty and administrators to bring awareness of the events industry. Through Future Workforce, these populations are even provided direct routes to job opportunities from EDPA members across the country.

The mission of Future Leaders is to identify bright, young minds currently working in the industry as leaders in their disciplines and provide them with opportunities to grow their career paths and get more involved in shaping the industry. This Group publicly recognizes these individuals through EDPA’s annual awards and creates for them an exclusive program of networking and educational events, as well as provides access to various tools and resources to propel their careers forward, including connecting these future leaders to current senior and executive level professionals who are eager to answer questions and provide advice.
